The Situation

MTV may have a situation on its hands.

It appears “Jersey Shore” has lost yet another cast member. Last week, Vinny Guadagnino called it quits while filming Season 5, and now Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has reportedly made his exit.

According to a source close to the show, Sitch packed his bags and left Seaside without warning. “Mike walked off the show. He’s so over the whole thing, I don’t think he’s coming back. Everyone in the house is so unhappy,” the insider claimed.

With the “Jersey Shore” cast clearly dropping like flies, what will become of the money-making reality series?

The loss of Vinny, the show’s more ho-hum character, could easily go unnoticed, but fans will certainly recognize the enormous void that will be left by the utterly ridiculous, yet always entertaining Sorrentino.

At least we still have Snooki’s outlandish antics and Pauly’s annoying but unforgettable catchphrases to keep us laughing.

Would you watch “Jersey Shore” without The Situation? Should MTV call it a wrap while the show is still a hit? Share your thoughts!
