Jennifer Lopez's Coral Escape Spring 2012 Collection

The pop star and American Idol judge has already made a mark in the fashion industry with her two other clothing lines, the now retired JLO collection and the teen line JustSweet, but now she has the Jennifer Lopez Kohl’s collection to add under her belt.

The collection was debuted last fall, and has gotten pretty good reviews. One blogger absolutely gushed over her excitement that she was proven wrong when she said she was skeptical, “To say I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of wow factor this specific line brought is an understatement” (Kaitlin Vocker).

The clothes are sometimes a tad high but that’s to be expected of a celebrity line. For the most part everything seems to be very affordable, coming in under $100. Bags, dresses, heels, and pants are reasonably priced in the $50-80 range. Whereas shirts and flats/sandals can be found for as low as $20. Besides the affordability, the clothes are actually quite beautiful. It definitely holds true to J Lo’s style with tons of slinky dresses, faux fur, sequins and animal prints.

The line is sold exclusively at Kohl’s stores and online. The 2012 Spring collection is up now on the Kohl’s website for viewing and purchasing. Her JLO and JustSweet lines haven’t had the extreme success of other celebrity lines, but I think with this collection she may finally join the fashionaire’s (multi-millionaire fashion designers) pack currently led by Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, and Victoria Beckham.
