Hello, Sunshine!

It’s no secret that fashion for spring/summer 2012 is all about color. Pull out your sunglasses because there’s one trending color guaranteed to brighten your day. From the red carpet to daytime strolls, celebrities have been all about the color of the sun this season. See how celebrities have been incorporating this hot color into their wardrobe.

Celebrities in yellow blazers

Through fall and winter, blazers have been a staple and will continue to be through the spring and summer. The structured look of the blazer makes this item perfect for almost any occasion; even for just a fun day out with friends. Celebrities seem to love the Rag & Bones Sliver Tuxedo Blazer, but a cheaper version can be found at Dillard’s. The best way to let the blazer shine on its own is to pair it with white top and denim or neutral colored shorts. If the summer sun is too hot for even a lightweight blazer, try a bright and cute cardigan for a similar look.

Solange Knowles, Gabrielle Union and January Jones

Yellow has also been making a statement on the red carpet. In April, Gabrielle Union looked absolutely amazing in a canary Bill Blass dress at the Think Like A Man premiere. Solange Knowles (in Rachel Roy) and January Jones (in Versace), both rocked a paler yellow dress at the 2012 Met Gala earlier this week. These floor-length gowns show that this color trend compliments every skin tone.
