Gwen's Stefani's Upcoming Kids' Collection

Gwen Stefani, the innovative creator of L.A.M.B., our favorite fashion line that integrates rock and luxe, and Harajuku Lovers, her perfume and accessories line, is the next in a series of designers to work exclusively with Target. The line will consist of apparel and accessories which, unfortunately for us big kids with a fashion sweet tooth, will be aimed towards babies and young children.

The collection, called “Harajuku Mini”, will have a price range between $3.99 and $29.99 and is set to be in stores in November 2011 and January 2012. In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Stefani talks about the line in more detail:

Gwen Stefani

“Harajuku Mini is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan. Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.”

This will be Stefani’s first venture into male and children’s apparel, and we’re excited to see what she comes up with. Gwen Stefani is one of many well-known designers slated to premiere a line with Target this year. A Missoni collaboration is in the works and Target has a remarkable history with working with high-caliber designers, including Thakoon and the late Alexander McQueen.

Will you be shopping with Harajuku Mini this November? Let us know!
