It’s that time again! That time to indulge yourself in some refreshingly cold frappachinos at Starbucks! From 3-5 p.m., you can get any frappachino for half off, which is approximately $2, in stores until May 12thPerfect timing to escape this summer heat!

As you may have known, Starbucks isn’t exactly considered cheap. In fact, it’s rather pricy for a simple cup of coffee, but if you’re anything like me, you just can’t resist. I mean, you don’t get to be a gold card member, without being a little addicted to this sweet franchise.

Because it’s at such a high price, I don’t play around with my orders very often. I tend to stick to what I know tastes  good. Iced soy vanilla latte, anyone?

But hey, it’s half off! Fraps only. What other time to experiment with your order than now? Since May 9th, the start of this fantabulous deal, I have been trying different fraps to see if I can change up my order, and here is a few that I found that sparked my interest:

1. Vanilla frap with (a pump of) raspberry: Just vanilla is so last year! Add a little fruit in there to not only make it healthier (not really though…), but taste wonderfully refreshing. So far this is my favorite.

2. Green tea frap with Java Chip: Green tea frap already is a nice blend. But go ahead and add little bits of chewy Java Chip for some added flavor. It’s like adding toppings on your froyo, or icecream!

3. Java Chip mocha with raspberry: Why not blend the first two (above) choices together? Go wild!

There are so many other choices, and so little time. May 12th is coming up soon, what other flavors have you tried? Share with us some of the good ones at @emcblue! I’d love to know more blends to try out.
