Known more for her supporting roles in movies, Ginnifer Goodwin’s style is anything but second-best. In her new role as Snow White on ABC’s hit new series Once Upon a Time, Goodwin battles her nemesis, the Evil Queen, in fanciful and medieval looks. However, her style on the red carpet is a bit more subdued — yet still flawless. Ginnifer always manages to strike the perfect balance between androgyny and femininity. Read on for more of Ginnifer’s best red carpet style.
Giving a nod to “mod” and the ‘60s, the actress wore a sleeveless Jonathan Saunders dress to ABC’s TV Upfront. What makes the otherwise simple sheath stand out is that it’s made of leather with a cool graphic pattern. The high waist line is flattering on the petite star. Ginnifer completed her look with a burgundy clutch by Sergio Rossi, an Ippolita ring, and black Brian Atwood peep-toe platform pumps with gold zipper accents. Her dark eye makeup complemented the tough style of the black leather.
Talk about fresh squeezed orange-tastic! Ginnifer’s use of color is always bold and daring, and this tangerine Monique Lhuillier gown at this year’s Met Gala did not disappoint. The cap sleeves, embroidery and beading detail at the neckline, and beautiful draping on the skirt kept this dress from looking too bridal but appropriate for summer. Ginnifer finished her look with silver Brian Atwood pumps and H. Stern jewels.
Ginnifer wows in this light gray H&M Conscious Collection dress. From the sleeveless bodice and voluminous skirt to the tiered ruffles and sexy red pout, this was a winning look for Ginnifer. The peplum gown was impeccably styled with a black leather belt, a Stark black and gold clutch and Bulgari jewels.
Never one to stray away from color on the carpet, Ginnifer attended the People’s Choice Awards wearing a hot, neon pink Roksanda Ilincic dress with cool bell sleeves. The dress fit her nicely, and whether she sports a pixie or a longer style with her hair, she is always flawless. She went for a more edgy style in accessories to toughen up the feminine, sophisticated dress. Black Jimmy Choo ankle boots, Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry and a black Kzeniya clutch completed her look.2012, ABC TV Upfronts, conscious collection, fashion, Ginnifer Goodwin, H&M, jonathan saunders, met gala, Monique Lhuillier, People's Choice Awards, red carpet, Roksanda Ilincic, style, White House Correspondents' Dinner
