Freja Beha Erichsen photographed by Theo Wenner. Rolling Stone, October 2010.

The great thing about high-fashion models making it into Rolling Stone magazine is that it highlights the deep effect fashion, in all its senses, has on industries outside of the runway. Rolling Stone magazine is notoriously known for its amazing coverage of the Rock & Roll scene, the musicians and all things bad-ass. In my last article Models Off Duty, the one and only Freja Beha Erichsen (IMG Models) was amongst the fashionably fabulous models off duty. Her style fits quite perfectly with the aesthetic of Rolling Stone, that it only seems  natural that they would want this Danish supermodel in their October 2010 issue. She rocks combat boots and black skinny jeans outside of the runway, which screams rock & roll godess .

This “Hot List” editorial is all about Freja and only Freja, she’s rocking a barely-there tank-top that is quite obviously transparent in all the right places (everywhere). Her tatoos are emphasized by the lack of clothing and the fact that her arms are up in the air in both pictures, further highlighting this care-free attitude reminiscent of the epic movie True Romance.

Photographer Theo Wenner chose an amazing first picture as Freja is framed in such a natural way by the blue sky which is contrasted by the second picture that has  black leather seats as the backdrop, very Rolling Stone. Readers really get a sense of this “beautiful bad girl” in both pictures and it almost makes you want to go out and get some tatoos on your fore-arms…Almost!
