This 21-year-old Brazilian model has been making waves in the fashion industry since his discovery in 2009. Francisco became the face of Dior Homme that same year and walked the spring Gucci, Moschino, Gianfranco Ferré, Dsquared2, John Galliano, and Kenzo shows in Milan and Paris. Not a bad debut year.
He closed out the year with two editorials for German FHM Collections and being on the cover of 160 Grams. Those aren’t the only magazines he’s graced. Francisco has also appeared in Italian D editorial, Vogue Hommes International, V Man, German GQ, and Out. He has features that beg to be photographed so that’s no surprise that he’s a print favorite. His coy smile, lean build, and coif of dark hair give him an edgy but sweet look. That’s also likely what earned him his devoted fan following that refer to him as the “model of the world.”
That may be an exaggeration, but not too far off. He is close to being a legitimate supermodel. He has campaigns with DKNY Jeans, Dior, Armani Exchange, and DSquared2. His runway experience is quite extensive as well. He’s rocked the catwalk for rag & bone, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Lacoste, Y-3, Generra, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Etro, Dsquared2, John Galliano, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, and Issey Miyake.
He’s currently ranked as the #25 model on models.com. Keep track of his latest work there or on his Facebook fanpage. Here is a short interview he did with Swide.com:Tags: brazilian male models, Francisco Lachowski
