The National Front, France’s far-right party, announced that it plans to sue Madonna after the singer showed a video at a Paris concert displaying image of the party’s leader, Marine Le Pen, with a Swastika on her forehead.

The party had expressed its disapproval after Madonna had shown the video at other concert’s on her tour, and warned that it would take action if she showed it at the Stade de France.

“We can’t accept this,” said National Front Vice President Florian Phillipot on Sunday. The FNP’s lawyers Wallerand de Saint-Just added, “Showing Marine Le Pen’s image with a swastika is like saying she is a Nazi.”

Le Pen is briefly pictured in the video where famous faces morph into the next. Once Le Pen’s face flashes, Madonna’s face follows with Hitler’s mustache. The party leader, who inherited control from her father Jean-Marie, has previously attempted to rid the party’s image as racist and anti-Semitic.

Nevertheless, she has stuck to a strict policy about immigrants, saying that France has “too many”. Le Pen has also criticized many Muslims, specifically for those who have “insufficiently” assimilated into French culture.

Meanwhile, anti-racism group, SOS Racisme, has expressed its support for the singer by congratulating her for “resolutely anti-racist and feminist discourse.”

That wasn’t the Naterial Girl’s only scandal during the concert. She also flashed her infamous assets (but this wasn’t the first time she’s done that, either).
