Bands Participating in "Do Something"

Scheduled to air this Thursday, August 18th on VH1, the 2011 Do Something! Awards are set to present enormous talent on their stage along with their outstanding nominees.

Since they are VH1′s ‘You Oughta Know‘ artist of the moment and also because this band has been blowing up the airwaves this year with their debut, Torches, Foster the People are set to perform. The band first gained publicity through play on The Hype Machine, their performances at South by Southwest and now due to their newest single, “Pumped Up Kicks.”

Also on the Do Something! stage are OneRepublic, Demi Lovato and B.o.B. Lovato will perform her hit single “Skyscraper” for the first time live, and it marks her first public performance since recovery. She is also nominated for the Do Something Charity Song and Do Something TV Star categories.

The 2011 Do Something! Awards were filmed this past Sunday, August 14th, and will air on August 18th on VH1 at 9 p.m. EST.
