Kings of Leon

To support their fifth studio album Come Around Sundown, Tennessee brothers and indie rockers Kings of Leon have a 29-date summer tour planned. And it looks like the Foo Fighters and Band of Horses will be joining them for a few dates on the road.

Foo Fighters will be joining them for two dates (June 18th in Berlin and June 22nd in Stockholm). Band of Horses will be joining them first on July 26th in Orange Beach, AL and staying on until the end of the tour.

Am I the only one who thinks of this as a strange combination? When I think of the Foo Fighters, Band of Horses and Kings of Leon together, it seems a bit…off. The idea of Dave Grohl and Caleb Followill sharing the same rehearsal space and guitar stories just rings comical. If you’d like to see how it all plays out, purchase a ticket to one of their many summer tour dates (below):

July 25: Orange Beach, Ala. (The Wharf)
