Christmas is less than a week away. That means the mall parking lot is a war zone and every store has at least a five minute line to the register. If you are finding yourself pressed for time, don’t fret! I’m here to give you five last minute ideas for your family and friends.
A DIY coupon book is perfect for any family, friend, or significant other. For friends, ideas like “designated driver service,” or “I’ll pick up the tab for pizza night” are fun. For family, like mom or dad, “spring cleaning on me,” or “dinner for two,” are thoughtful. People usually use this idea for their Valentine, but it can work for any holiday!
For the super last-minute shopper. Because who doesn’t love giftcards? You can pick one up at Walgreens, CVS, or online in five minutes. These are a great idea for Kindle users and online shoppers.
No matter how many sets of pajamas you already have, you can always use one more. Especially on Christmas! If you’re looking for a gift for her, check out these Victoria’s Secret sets. If you’re looking for him, check out Target or J. Crew.
On a low budget? Take a trip to your local craft store and buy a bulletin board or large frame. Add your favorite pictures of you and the person receiving this gift. If you have some extra time, add some fun stickers/ticket stubs/anything that reminds you of a memory with that person to really personalize the gift.
Why is this an ideal gift? You don’t even have to leave your house to make the purchase, and it lasts for a whole year! Plus, they are relatively inexpensive. (Psst..you usually receive a discounted second subscription for yourself or another lucky gift receiver!)
Happy shopping and happy holidays!
