Fiona Apple

Fiona Apple is back…not that the beloved songstress ever left.

The painstakingly gifted singer/songwriter, who spawned hits like ‘Criminal’, ‘Never is a Promise’ and ‘Love Ridden’—the latter, by the way, always makes me cry like a baby—is finally releasing a new album. Hooray!

Once credited as having the longest album title in history for 99’s ‘When the Pawn…’, this latest release may not be as long name-wise as the aforementioned, but 23 words is still pretty lengthy. Leave it to Ms. Apple to have something amazing to say even before she starts to sing.

Here it goes, the highly anticipated album will be called, “The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do.”

Very catchy! And very Fiona!

The artist has had problems in the past with songs being leaked, so this latest project is being kept top secret.

However, Fiona is performing at a view venues in NYC, Chicago and Boston this month. Check out her website to find out about dates and ticket availability.

Hope you get your tickets before they sell out. I know I sure did!
