Britney Spears

She did it again. The reigning princess of pop, Miss Britney Spears, is back and better than ever with the release of her seventh studio album Femme Fatale. Hitting stores and iTunes officially this Tuesday, March 29, the reviews are already pouring in for the “Hold It Against Me” singer and it’s apparent that Spears not only hit a high note with her critics, but with her fans as well.

As USA Today gave Fatale three out of four stars, and critic Edna Gundersen went on to say that “Spears delivers the goods.” Further, Gundersen feels that it’s the singer’s “babyish coo and seductive breathiness” that contribute and provide “pop-tastic appeal” to her singles “Hold It Against Me,” as well as the soon-to-be hit “Inside Out.”

It wasn’t just Gundersen who was tapping her feet to Spears’ beat, NYC based radio station 92.3 NOW had nothing but rave reviews for the pop princess. Content Manager Sabrina Cognata calls Fatale a “unique genius” of an album. She goes on to say that the record is “a perfect collection of heavy dance singles that will wow old school Britney fans” in addition to “flashing edgier, dance heavy sounds,” prompting any pop music lover to give Femme Fatale a try.

Though the reviews are still pouring in over Spears’ latest musical creation, it’s not only the critics the 29-year-old is impressing.  Her fans are also taking notice, or at least 700 of them at at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. On Friday March 25, Spears hit Sin City ,where she performed a set of singles from her upcoming CD. The performance was video taped for MTV and will made its debut the same day Fatale is released.

Yet for those of us (like me) who missed the show, don’t fret because it just so happens that Spears may be hitting the road this summer. As the singer revealed to Ryan Seacrest, she is already getting in tip-top shape and ready to hit the stage. Although no official dates and venues have been set, to catch Spears’ live, mark your calendar for March 29 as the songstress is set to take Good Morning America by storm.
