Emma Stone

Emma Stone, the current hot commodity of Hollywood, is a perfect muse for the idea of “casual chic”. Frequently photographed in outfits that look comfortable yet stylish (who ever thought that was possible?), she’s the postergirl for all us fashion mavens living miles away from Tinseltown. Even though she has been spotted dazzling the red carpet in gorgeous dresses, the good thing about Emma’s wardrobe is that it doesn’t consist completely of brand names and high-brow designers.

Denim is a life saver when it comes to style and comfort. A look that has been, and will always be, a classic for decades is the dark wash jeans. It’s proven to look slimming and give legs a long, sleek appearance. Trash your destroyed and distressed denim this fall; it’s all about having a put-together sense of style, especially when it comes to looking casual. Pair your favorite dark wash denim with a flowy lace top for on-trend comfort. If you’re afraid of the pain associated with heels, go for wedges–they have great arch support.

Emma Stone

Emma is known for her chameleon-esque talent of looking good with just about any hairstyle or makeup look. She made the jump from fiery redhead to bombshell blonde and while presses stirred, the decision was unanimous: she worked it. Don’t be afraid to take a risk, as just about anyone can pull off a look with the right tricks and tools. Knowing your skin’s undertone (cool or warm) as well as your face shape pay off in the long run. Taboos like red lipstick, blunt haircuts, dark eye makeup, and even white after Labor Day are all feats Emma has translated effortlessly into modern-day chic.
