Drake misses his fans just as much as we miss him. If you are a Drake fan like me, you’ve been following anything and everything the rapper has been saying about his upcoming album. So when he announced that he would be dropping his new single in the next few weeks, I was more than excited.

The original plan was for Drizzy to debut his single “Started From the Bottom” the night of the Grammys on February 10th. This would obviously bring even more attention to the Young Money rapper who is nominated for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. All we are missing is a performance.

Drake took us all by surprise when he released not only a new single, but a letter to his adoring fans. The very heartwarming letter explains his journey to becoming a superstar. Not only is the letter very personal but it gives us a little insight of what Drake has gone through to achieve his success.

Part of the letter reads, “I feel sometimes that people don’t have enough information about my beginnings and therefore they make up a life story for me that isn’t consistent with actual events.”

Getting a glimpse into Drake’s past is every fan’s dream. The fact that it is through song makes it even better. Here’s to hoping the video is even better!

Listen to the track below and let us know what you think!
