Kylie with Designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabanna

Dolce & Gabanna recently released exclusive photos of the fitting for Kylie Minogue’s Aphrodite Les Folies tour, just in time for the Milan show on March 8. The tour, otherwise known as Aphrodite Live 2011, is Kylie’s twelfth concert tour following her 2010 album Aphrodite. This is the third time the singer has collaborated with Dolce & Gabanna for wardrobe choices.

Kylie as "Venus"

The costumes are all new interpretations of D&G pieces. The large scale of the tour and reputation of the designers are synonymous with an extravagant display of intricate fabrics and embellishments. A glimpse at the costumes reveals a multitude of feathers, gold lamé, beads, chain mail, and chiffon.

The tour draws visual inspiration from Greek mythologies, as the name suggests. In this picture of the kick-off show in Denmark last month, Kylie emerged out of a golden shell, symbolizing the birth of Venus.

Aphrodite Les Folies started in Europe and will visit Asia, North America and Australia, coming to the US in late April.
