Motown artists appear to remain as close as family – and may become it officially. Diana Ross will get custody of Michael Jackson’s children if their grandmother Katherine Jackson dies, according to celebritymania.com.
The 67-year-old former Supremes lead vocalist was named Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II (more adorably known as Blanket)’s guardian should anything happens to Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, who’ll turn 81 May 4.
Sources told radaronline.com Katherine is a loving grandmother, but she just isn’t getting any younger, which is why the king of pop named a second guardian.
Who, might I mention, is not getting any younger herself?
Ross has five grown children of her own as well and said she’d be more than happy to step in to raise Jackson’s children if needed.
Maybe with her as their guardian, the Jackson 3 isn’t too far off anymore? Only time will tell …custody, Diana Ross, guardian, kids, Michael Jackson, Motown
