Gisele Bundchen-Givenchy Ad

A few months ago, I said to keep a look out for news about Gisele Bundchen replacing Mariacarla Boscono for Givenchy. Now, the rumors that Gisele, fresh from a catwalk return for the label, would be the new face of Givenchy have been confirmed. Leaked campaign images have proved that the supermodel appears in a brand new 2012 campaign for Givenchy.

As the new face for the elite French brand,  the Brazilian beauty was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. According to WWD, Riccardo Tisci describes the atmosphere as “the expression of a love story between a surfer and a mermaid.”  Shot in Barcelona, Gisele wears a black dress from the spring/summer 2012 collection and leans against a black pick-up truck loaded with black surfboards.  Bundchen stars alongside  male models Chris Moore and Simone Nobili in the Gothic-style campaign.

The 31-year-old beauty now has topped the list of the highest paid super models. The busy lady is not only the stunning supermodel front for Givenchy’s spring/summer 2012 campaign, but she is also the face of Versace’s spring/summer 2012 campaign. I’m sure Tom Brady has every reason to be proud and happy to say that yes, Bundchen is his gal!  The images are set to release early next year.
