The Crowd at Coachella This Year

Coachella is bringing out a new innovation for their 2012 event. Not only will Coachella be keeping an amazing line-up, location and emphasis on art, but next year the festival will be for two stellar weekends instead of just one.

This is all in an effort to combat the overzealous music lovers and hippies that overwhelmed them this time around. Since they can obviously not allow more people into the event, giving a replica event the next week seems to be the perfect solution.  Both events will feature the same line-up.

One may only state that nothing can ever be better than the first time, and that a second showing might not live up to what Coachella fans see during the first weekend.

That aside, it’s time for some fast thinking as three-day passes for the event (which will remain at $269 for both weekends) are going on sale this Friday, June 3rd at 10 am! The ticket sales will remain open until June 10th at 10pm.  Next year’s Coachella weekends will be April 13-15th and then April 20-22nd.

What do you think of two consecutive Coachella’s? Will you be ordering a three day pass during the advanced pre-sales?
