Christopher Meloni

Christopher Meloni is most famous for playing Detective Elliot Stabler in Law and Order: SVU. But now the star is going to be in the upcoming Superman reboot.

Meloni was on Law and Order for 12 seasons. And now he’s going to play “a general” in Man of Steel. General Zod, a Kryptonian villain, is already being played by Michael Shannon. So the former Law and Order star probably won’t be evil. But with Christopher Nolan as producer and David S. Goyer as writer, all bets are off.

Details about Meloni’s role are being closely guarded. But he will definitely be shooting scenes with Henry Cavill, the Man of Steel himself. Vulture tried to get Meloni to spill the beans about his character at the Public Theater Gala.

“I can’t tell you, or I’d have to kill you.” said the Emmy nominated actor.
