April 6th, 2011 was the day that everyone became a slave for Britney Spears again. Britney premiered the video for her new single “Till The World Ends” yesterday and fans have not stopped buzzing!
Rumors had been spreading for a few weeks now that Britney would be releasing a new video and you would be seeing a lot of the old Britney (not the shaved head one) but people were suspicious to say the least. That is until yesterday, when she finally premiered the video and proved everyone wrong.Oops, Britney did it again!
The over night hit “Till The World Ends” is the second single off of Britney’s seventh studio album, “Femme Fatale” that hit stores on March 25th and came in at number 1 on the Billboard 200. The single premiered on March 4th on the Ryan Seacrest Show and it became an instant hit for Britney fans. The single was produced by Max Martin, Dr. Luke and Billboard and co-written by pop newbie, Ke$ha. The video for “Till The World Ends” was directed by the very popular director, Ray Kay. Apparently, since he did so many great shots for the video, Britney will be releasing a second video for the hit song.
The new video has brought us back to a time where Britney was a dancing machine and we could not get enough sweat in a video. The video has the same type of theme like Britney’s “Slave 4 U” but this time she is telling everyone to dance till the world ends. It is set as if the world is ending and Britney is keeping everyone dancing underground to basically forget about what looms above ground. Britney is back into her racy, glittery outfits and she is showing off her new dance steps. The dancing is not as intense as they used to be but they are good enough for us!
With the new hit singles off her album and catchy, dancing videos, we are looking forward to what is to come from Britney in the near future. She is trying to bring pop music back and she is doing a helluva job at it.
