Goodbye Disney, and “Hello, [her] name is…” Bridgit Mendler! Hard to believe that she was once that innocent doe-eyed girl who guest starred on Wizards of Waverly Place as Juliet, Justin Russo’s (David Henrie) girlfriend, and Teddy Duncan on Good Luck Charlie.

Singing seems like the next step in any of the Disney Channel stars walk of fame, but there’s not many that stands out from the crowd, as Bridgit Mendler did. The last person to rise above everyone else was Demi Lovato, before being emitted into rehab. But Mendler def has what it takes to be the next “Demi Lovato”, or better!

Because, guys, guess what? She can rap! That is so rare in Disney stars nowadays. I can’t think of one Disney star that raps, or is actually good at it!

Stylin’ with her ‘bed-head’ hair, and singing such catchy, hum-worthy tunes, it plays off her flirty and playful vibe that she wishes to share to her fans. One thing’s for sure though, if, like Miley Cyrus, she’s trying to tell the world to leave her Disney days behind her, it’s done. So, if you haven’t already, go purchase her hit album Hello, My name is…, available in stores now, or on iTunes!

Check out her Music Video here:
