In Touch Cover Story

Patriots safety, Bret Lockett, has stirred up a story across the media about an affair with the now-engaged Kim Kardashian that he swears is true. The story, of course, has everyone talking and wondering who to believe. Everyone knows there are three sides to a story: his, hers and the truth.

His Side

According to Lockett, he met the famous socialite, Kim Kardashian, through Lauren London. Lockett was approached by London who told him that Kardashian found him attractive and was interested in getting his number. He said, “I thought she was joking. What guy doesn’t want Kim Kardashian to have his number?” He says 10 minutes later, he received a call from the reality show star.

From that moment on, they had a “thing” that continued for five months, all while she was with her beau, Kris Humphries.

“All I know is [In Touch magazine] contacted me saying they knew about my relationship with Kim. I told them, I said, ‘I don’t know how you got hold of it. I don’t know anything about what you’re talking about.’ They said, ‘We’re going to run it whether you like it or not. Do you have anything to say because Kim and their publicists are going to be able to make a statement?’ Either I could have said nothing, and just let it be and then have me look crazy, or I could have told them the full truth and let it be written as told. So that’s exactly what I did.”

Her Side

Kim Kardashian didn’t waste any time. The moment the story was released, she posted a blog on her website attacking In Touch magazine and Bret Lockett.

“This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story just to get attention!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated. My friend Lauren London has never even met this guy, so to say she was the one who set us up is totally untrue.”

She even claims that she will take legal action against In Touch magazine and Lockett. His reaction? He doesn’t care. He says he has text messages, photos, and phone records to prove it!

The Truth

No one knows! Who do you believe?
