Jay-Z and Kanye
When Kanye West and Jay-Z sat down and planned to put together “Watch the Throne,” they did not know what type of empire they were building. Kanye and Jay-Z created a new level of music for listeners when “Watch the Throne” was released and resulted in the album taking on a life of it’s own.
“Ni**as in Paris” has been on constant rotation on the radio stations and in the clubs and the song seems to get better every time it’s played. “Watch the Throne” has become a part of people’s regular conversations and has even become an extremely popular topic on Twitter (#WTT).
With a sold-out tour, Kanye and Jay-Z have decided to release behind the scenes of the tour and show everyone their journey to their “Watch the Throne” success. more…

The fashion magazine is on the rocks.
Women’s Wear Daily reports: this past year, Vogue is the only fashion magazine whose sales have gone up – its March Lady Gaga cover selling 100,000 copies alone. InStyle, regardless of its 8 percent drop, remains the top-sold magazine, selling 570, 272 issues. Other magazines suffered larger drops: Marie Claire was down 21.5 percent, Glamour down 27.5, Harper’s Bazaar down 14.3, W magazine down 11.8, Elle down 9, and Lucky down 9. Allure’s sales remained flat.
These ratings may shock the avid fashion-magazine reader, but they’re not surprising nonetheless. For the past few years, the popularity of online fashion media has skyrocketed, progressively outsourcing the print magazine. more…

Well, good news first. Aunt-to-be, Solange Knowles, couldn’t be more proud of her sister’s VMA performance on Sunday. She tweeted on Aug 28th, “One. And Only. I could not possibly be more proud. Tears in my eyes.”
