The Situation

Where most designers are thrilled that stars and starlets wear their clothes out in public, Abercrombie & Fitch is willing to pay “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to do exactly the opposite.

In a press release to CNN on Tuesday, the clothing company famous for its hunky ads, said, “We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image…We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational na ture of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans.” more…

Piers Morgan

The British phone hacking scandal that has caused the resignations of several editors and policemen, and has placed some of the most elite of England under scrutiny, is now focusing on Piers Morgan, who denies any involvement.

Morgan, former editor of two British tabloids, News of the World and the Daily Mirror, and host of CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” was accused at a hearing on Tuesday of being involved in the ever-extending scandal by Louise Mensch, a Conservative member of Parliament on the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee. more…

Anna Dello Russo

An important rule of fashion is to not take yourself too seriously. Vogue Japan editor-in-chief, Anna Dello Russo, definitely doesn’t, and she knows how to have fun with her fashion.

Dello Russo even has two apartments in Milan: one for her to live in, and one for her clothes. As quoted from an article from W Magazine:

“Such a living arrangement might be considered unusual by anyone who didn’t own 4,000 pairs of shoes and 250 black tuxedo jackets and wasn’t 100 percent fueled by fashion.”

She continually pushes fashion to the extreme and is just about as fearless as Lady Gaga when it comes to her wardrobe choices. Minimalism seems to be missing from her vocabulary, and  Dello Russo is frequently seen sporting one outlandish outfit after another. more…

Larry King

America’s nightly dose of Larry King Live will soon come to an end. There have been months of rumors about the celebrated TV interviewer stepping down from his nightly news show on CNN. King confirmed in a statement on his show’s blog last Tuesday night he will be leaving Larry King Live later this year.

In his post, King says he is leaving the show in order to spend more time with his family. King didn’t mention when his show will officially end, but according to an article on CNN.com, the host plans to leave no later than the fall. CNN will name a replacement for King in the coming weeks.
