When the producers of a show like Project Runway prefer rounding up old contestants to scouting the next Christian Siriano, it’s safe to assume that the end is near. more…

In the land of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, our opinions of its players can change wildly with each season — Camille’s gone from desperate trophy wife to fun-to-be-around divorcee; Kyle’s unwittingly revealed her insecure side after seeming like the ultimate in confidence; Kim’s evaded the label of alcoholic since sharing that a host of barbiturates is to blame for her loopy affect — and that’s just the Beverly Hills cast.

As season four of the Atlanta sect continues to unfold, viewers are again privy to the dawn of a “new” housewife: Nene Leakes.

Brad Goreski

Everyone remembers the complacent overachiever Brad from The Rachel Zoe Project. Was he annoying to you? (OK, just me…) Rachel’s right-hand man was a little annoying, but the guy knew how to do his job! He was very talented, he knew how to run Rachel’s business just like she could. It makes sense that he’s getting recognition and a new promotion. more…

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

It’s been one hell of a ride in the 90210 this season. With viewer interest heightened by the suicide of Taylor’s briefly estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expectedly focused on their troubled marriage.

The preamble to the suicide of an allegedly abusive husband certainly isn’t the safest of plots. If Bravo were to peruse the comment section of any Housewives web post, they’d face vehement dissention among fans: One sect argues that the focus is insensitive and tasteless  –  particularly where abuse survivors and Russell’s family are involved — while the other applauds the network for having the balls to air any of it.

Real Housewives of Atlanta, Season 4

Following a dismally boring third season, The Real Housewives of Atlanta returned to Bravo this week, bearing with it the mild suggestion that in its fourth go-round, things’ll get better.

But drama mongers will have to be patient about getting their feisty fix, as the season premiere is inevitably focused on establishing what the women have been up to since viewers last saw them. So what of it, you ask?

Kandi Burruss

Grammy Award winner, Kandi Burruss, will soon be putting her talent to use. Bravo has given the “Real Housewife of Atlanta” star the green light on an upcoming television show entitled “The Kandi Factory.” During this series, cameras will follow the star around as she mentors two pop-sing hopefuls. If anyone is up for the job I’m sure Kandi is. more…

Rachel Zoe

Bravo lovers everywhere have gone long enough without hearing the iconic phrase, “that’s bananas.” The Rachel Zoe Project, which follows the eponymous stylist’s day-to-day life, comes back to our television screens on August 2 for its fourth season. Last season we dealt with the departure of the assistant we loved to hate, Taylor Jacobson, and now we’ve got to prepare ourselves to say goodbye to fan favorite Brad Goreski, who had been subjected to Jacobson’s wrath on more than one occasion during the first season of RZP. more…

The Real Housewives of New York City

Bravo’s fourth installment of The Real Housewives of New York City may be its least impressive yet – and not just where fans are concerned. Disappointed with its current line-up, the brass at Bravo are said to be recasting the show completely (according to dubious gossip source Page Six, anyway).

The Real Housewives of Miami

Sunscreen? Check. String bikinis? Check. A wave of reality TV drama, courtesy of Bravo? Double check! As the sun sets on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a new one rises with the premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami. The new addition to the Housewives franchise made its television debut last Tuesday, Feb 22, and like the Housewives before them, there was no shortage of catty drama between the new batch of wives. more…

Wonder Woman Bethenny Frankel

It’s not at all surprising that Bethenny Frankel won’t be rejoining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City this season. With the premiere of her own spin-off, Bethenny Getting Married? directly following the Housewives season 3′s finale last June, the proverbial writing’s practically painted the walls a new shade.

But don’t think that a departure from the ensemble of catty women that popularized Frankel in homes across the country indicates a halt to her Bravo tenure. After watching the natural foods chef finalize book edits and plan a wedding while pregnant on Bethenny Getting Married?, the show returns for its second spin this month – albeit with a different title.
