Community Verges on Cancelation
NBC is acting like a wounded animal, wild and reckless, and it’s doing anything and everything to cling to its dwindling ratings (which can be viewed here and here). That means bad news for Community, a show with poor ratings, but an impressively loyal fan-base.

Il Volo
Il Volo, the Italian music trio, performed at the Detroit Opera House on Thursday. The group has become increasingly popular, especially after their recent performance on American Idol’s 10th season results show. They also appeared on Entourage’s series finale, singing their song “Un Amore Cosi Grande.”
What’s shocking about this trio is that they are all teenagers. The group consists of two tenors, Piero Barone, 18, and Ignazio Boschetto, 17, and baritone Gianluca Ginoble, 16. more…

America came in first place in the poll, in which 15 countries and 30,000 people voted, with Brazilians, Spanish, and Italians falling to second, third, and fourth.

Haley Reinhardt
Former “American Idol” contestant Haley Reinhardt signed with Interscope Records, as confirmed by a representative of the label on Monday.
The 20-year-old jazzy singer scored a deal with the same record label as fellow contestant Pia Toscano, and she is already working on a debut album. Other contestants who have also signed deals include runner-up Lauren Alaina and “Idol” winner Scotty McCreery, both signed with Mercury Nashville, which means all four idols are now part of Universal Music Group, the parent company of both labels. more…
