Ryan Reynolds on the go

Ryan Reynolds has been known as one of Hollywood’s hottest stars for years. He’s tall, handsome, talented and has one of the most stylish wardrobes in Hollywood. He’s made a few best dressed lists for his premiere outfits which are always cool and casual.  According to an interview in Men’s Health, the inspiration behind his look is practicality: “I ride a motorcycle everywhere, so I wear stuff that won’t make my skin come off like a cheap suit.”  That would explain the leather jackets he’s so often spotted wearing.

Another staple of his seems to be layering. Reynolds is hardly ever seen without some sort of shirt, sweater, or jacket combo on. Whether it’s premieres or an everyday occasion, he sports a put together look. Just this past weekend, he rocked two great looks at the LA and Spain premieres of his action flick Safe House co-starring Denzel Washington.

The key to achieving Reynolds’s style is to get great staple items that you can mix with the rest of your wardrobe. A good pair of jeans, a nice jacket, and a pair of boots are must haves. This look can be casual or formal depending on what else you pair with it.

Ryan also adds, in his men’s Health interview, ”I try to dress with as little pretension as possible.” So don’t focus too much on the overall look and trying to be impressive, instead get things that are comfortable and practical for your everyday needs.
