Eccentric Hollywood cliché Kevin Lee (think: “shi shi shi”) is still very much in touch with Beverly Hills housewife, Lisa Vanderpump following his work on her daughter Pandora’s wedding.
In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint, the high-profile event planner revealed that the two are “definitely working on something else,” and it’s definitely “related to the spinoff.”
The oldest dame of the lot, Vanderpump’s interesting mix of English reserve and Beverly Hills excess have earned her a unique space within the Housewives realm. Any woman over 50 who dons only pink and purple, has a fondness for tiaras and other sparkly things, carries – and kisses – her dog whenever she can and doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks about any of it certainly merits some fanfare. But is she spinoff worthy?
An investigation of Vanderpump’s past reveals that prior to being a proud restaurateur, her majesty dabbled in acting. After a career of steamy B-movies and bikini-clad TV spots on shows like Baywatch Nights and Silk Stalkings, she’s experiencing the most visibility of her career now – playing “herself.”
Of course, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump’s just one part of a successful machine. And while the viability of a show that rests on her and Lee for its oomph is questionable, if the sexy suspense genre of the early 90s made a comeback, it’s almost certain that the fiftysomething princess would still fit in perfectly.
