Who has time for a full change of clothes before hitting the town after a long day of work or classes? Yes, you may be able to bring a few items with you to keep in your purse or under your office desk, and other times you may even get to stop at your dorm. But for those who don’t have time, you can easily keep some items on while changing a few to boost up your wardrobe for the look that’s ready to conquer the night.
Allison, a college junior that also holds a job, is one of those people that sometimes do not have the time to fully change their outfits after class or work. I caught her in her first outfit, chic yet ready for a day of work and classes. She wears a white tank from H&M under a lace cover up from Forever21. Allison pairs her tops off with denim jeans from H&M and finishes it off with cognac heels by Michael Kors. She accessorizes with a necklace from Forever21 and a purse from Banana Republic.
Remember the most important word: versatility. Never limit your choices and do the most with what you have, which is exactly what Allison did as her chic ensemble perfects this day-to-night transition. Allison changed her denim jeans to a bandage skirt from H&M, her shoes to wonderful nude heels from Traffic and added a satchel from TJ Max. Her wardrobe is sexy yet classy and can take anyone from the office to a night out of fun.
Allison is not only a junior in college and an assistant to the University Admissions office, she is also part of the volleyball team at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the alternative winter and spring break team where they travel to other countries to help build a better lifestyle for other people. It is no wonder why she does such a great job of putting together versatile outfits.
She describes her personal style as sexy but classy “..whether it’s during the day or at night when I go out. One of the best pieces I always like to use are my basics that can be easily mixed and matched with any outfit.” Allison “likes to mix and match a lot of outfits so I tend to buy plain colored clothing. However, I like to accessorize with anything from necklaces to earrings, scarves, etc. to make the outfit look different from the last.”
Allison looks to Lauren Conrad as a fashion icon for her oh-so-fashionable style, which after all she is one of young Hollywood’s best dress. But Conrad better watch out — Allison’s a fashionista to follow on her own!
