The much hyped collaboration of Macy’s and Karl Lagerfeld finally ends as Macy’s has offered the full preview of the collection this week. I know you must be thinking that the whole collection will be insanely expensive and highly inaccessible to us, but think again. The whole collection is priced between $50- $170, whereas the tees which have Karl’s photo plastered on them are $49.
“To me Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget,” Lagerfeld said in the release.
This collection is set to hit Macy’s online stores and is going to be available in 235 Macy stores across America. I guess the back-to-school shopping hasn’t finished yet, ladies, so set a reminder on August 31st or stand in a queue outside a store because this is going to be one heck of a collection!
Coco Rocha looks impeccable (as always) as she models for both the collection and the campaign. Karl Lagerfeld photographed the collection in his library in Paris. This 45-piece collection has feminine floral dresses, usage of black and white hues with splashes of bright pinks and oranges, statement sleeved dresses, faux fur additions and sharp white collars and images of the designer himself. What I think is that this collection is a more accessible and cheaper version of Chanel. Fall just got bigger and better than before!
