Kanye West poses for a shot with T-Pain

For the past several weeks, Kanye West has released a new song every “G.O.O.D.” Friday, providing fodder for his highly anticipated, yet to be named, new album. However, Kanye will not be providing another release this Friday, October 1, 2010. Kanye cited leaked songs from his unfinished album and overzealous websites for his decision not to provide another release. Kanye’s releases have featured notable collaborators including the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Raekwon, Swizz Beatz, Charlie Wilson and more.  Browse our music section to hear previous releases from Mr. West!

2011 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees were announced this week, and big names such as Tom Waits, Alice Cooper and Neil Diamond are in the run to receive this prestigious honor.

In order to qualify for this year’s selection, determined by the Hall of Fame’s nominating committee, an artist must have released its first recording in 1985 or earlier.
