Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian

Unless you have never been inside a supermarket to see the infamous tabloids littering your check-out aisle, the name “Kardashian” rings a bell in your head. Now whether the name sounds familiar because you were glued to the television during OJ Simpson’s trial where his attorney was Robert Kardashian or you’re enthralled in the lifestyles of Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, now more than ever is your chance to get a great insight to their lives as their two series have been picked up once again by the E! Network to broadcast them for millions.

Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami has been the show to not miss since it’s start up last year and now in its second season, the girls continue to reel in the viewers, particularly women in the 18-49 age group according to Nielsen Ratings for Sunday nights. The simple boutique that the family opened in California now has a twin in Miami; the business venture headed up by Kourtney and Khloe heads downhill and the girls temporary relocate to Miami for a second time to give it a facelift.

The entire Kardashian family has turned into a must-see phenomenon and now as Keeping Up With The Kardashians dips into its fifth season of taping, the appearance of the Kardashian empire plateauing is very slim. In addition to the TV shows they all take part in, the large family of more than eight (parents, Bruce and Kris Jenner, included) is set to take on bigger and better things.

The three eldest sisters of the family, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, are set to embark on their own book to hit stores this November, their rep confirmed to E! last week. Kourtney dished to E! that their autobiography they are penning is going to be “filled with secrets, tips and lots of things about our childhood and lives before the show.” Viewers will get a glimpse at the girls before the skin care ads, bathing suits, perfumes, tv shows and famous boyfriends and husbands.

Among the sibling rivalry, all-day photoshoots and boyfriend betrayal, there lies a family with ties that bind and hilarious moments that keeps viewers on their toes; viewers catch all of these aspects within just the first episode alone of ‘Miami’. This is the main combination that keeps the family on the top and this summer’s hit, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, is no exception. While Keeping Up With The Kardashians may rank in epic ratings with the E! Network, there is still room for this spinoff to grow in the heart of Florida’s great city.

Many realty television shows go off the deep-end with “reality” turning quickly to “scripted” and “phony”; however, the coveted 10 PM time slot of Sunday night television for its host network soars. Whether or not Kourtney’s boyfriend and father of her child, Scott Disick, is always  pleasantry to see on camera, Miami is certainly showing us fun in the sun with the two sexy sisters that refuse to sit in the shadows of anyone else — and rightfully so. Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami is an enjoyable, lighthearted show and a great way to end your summer weekends before you start up your Monday routine and it’ll definitely give you your Kardashian fix until Keeping Up With The Kardashians returns.
