Beyonce performs at the Revel resort on Friday

Sasha Fierce is Back!

On Friday, Beyonce proved she still has it as she took the stage on the first night of her four-night show at the Revel resort in Atlantic City. This is Beyonce’s first concert since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy back in January and what a performance it was!

Taking the stage at 10 p.m., Beyonce performed her hits which included “Countdown”, “Halo”, “Single Ladies”, and “Run the World (Girls)”. One would think that merely four months after having her baby, Beyonce would still be in the process of getting back in shape, but that would be wrong. The “1+1″ crooner didn’t miss a beat as she danced and sang her heart out for her fans, leaving the impression that Sasha Fierce had never taken a break.

Performance aside, Beyonce didn’t disappoint with her fierce fashion either. With five costume changes, Bey delivered some eye-popping style, which her designer Tamara Russo described as “modern showgirl” to People magazine. The costumes were custom-made for Queen B and according to People, were decorated with over 500,000 Swarovski Elements.

The concert also had some famous names in the crowd, which included First Lady Michele Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia on Saturday night. The First daughters  were very excited and even sang along when Beyonce belted “Love on Top”.

The multiplatinum artist continued to wow the crowd as she showed a home video towards the end of the show. Beyonce left the crowd with some inspirational words as she said “I will leave my mark, so everyone will know I was here” and included a glimpse of her holding Blue Ivy, to which the audience screamed even louder.
