Beyonce in "Best Thing I Never Had"

Beyonce in “Best Thing I Never Had”

Queen B’s new single, “Best Thing I Never Had,” is the perfect I’m-so-over-you song. The lyrics inspire images of revenge, relief, happiness…..and weddings? Beyonce sure thinks so in her new music video. The diva parades around in her sexy white lingerie singing her heart out about how glad she is to be done with him, later changing into her fabulous gold studded gown running around an open field showering the world with feelings of joy and understanding.

The images in the video are very beautiful and I find the nature shots intertwined with the shots of Beyonce in an all white room to be extremely visually stimulating. I do think it’s a tad awkward however, when the former Destiny’s Child member pulls herself up from twine wrapped around a column in a slow pole dancer kind of way.

Unfortunately, the pop star’s real hubby isn’t the one walking down the aisle with the “Single Ladies” singer in the music video. How great would it be to just glimpse Jay-Z in one of the diva’s videos?
