Beyoncé and Rihanna

Beyoncé and Rihanna

Movie stars and rock stars are arguably the most enviable people in the world. So it’s no surprise that these celebrities are always trying to step into each other’s shoes.

Soon, “Diva” Beyoncé will be working on a brand new project that will definitely be Blue Ivy-approved. Meanwhile, Rihanna is putting her first action movie role behind her and is preparing to make you laugh.

When Beyoncé declared she would be “back to business,” she wasn’t joking! The established movie star has already signed on to work with Clint Eastwood in the newest A Star Is Born remake. Now, after four nights of an epic post-Blue performance, Queen B has signed on to star as Queen Tara in an epic new movie. The internet is buzzing with news that Beyoncé will also be a lead voice in the upcoming 3D animated movie Epic. The movie – set for a May 2013 release – comes from the masterminds behind Ice Age and Rio. The rest of the all-star cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull and more. I personally hope Beyoncé’s character does plenty of singing. Regardless, the soundtrack for this movie is bound to be great.

First-time movie star Rihanna is also already on the set of a new movie. Fresh off of her first official acting role in Battleship, the pop star was recently spotted on the set of a new movie in New Orleans. Rihanna tweeted about the hilarious Kevin Hart while on the set of The End of the World. The Seth Rogan comedy features plenty of other comical celebrities including Jason Segal and Jonah Hill. Despite the star power, special effects, and heavy promotion, Rihanna’s first flick didn’t do too well at the box office. However, with a popular team behind The End of the World and her funny “Shy Ronnie” skit on SNL, this movie is bound to be a greater success.

Are you excited to see Beyoncé take on a different role? Will The End of the World successfully catapult Rihanna’s movie career? Stay tuned as these billboard babes take over the big screen.
