Up next on the list to bare it all is Angela Simmons.  In an effort to promote her vegetarian lifestyle, she posed nude for a new Peta Campaign.

Everyone is pretty familiar with  Russell Simmons‘ healthy lifestyle – he is a vegan and practices yoga on a daily basis. So it isn’t any real surprise where his daughter’s inspiration to become a vegetarian came from.

“As a devout Christian, I feel it’s very important to show compassion for all of God’s creation…and adopting a vegetarian diet is the best way to keep innocent animals from suffering,” Angela says.

Simmons vows to be a full-fledged vegan in a few years, which would prevent her from consuming any meant or dairy products.  Many other celebrities have adopted the “vegetarian/vegan” lifestyle including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ellen DeGeneres, and Hayden Panettiere, just to name a few.

“I eat pretty well, I’m a vegetarian. Hopefully I’ll be a vegan in a couple of years, but I’m taking it one step at a time. My uncle inspired me to become a vegetarian, a vegan, when I was young. He had me watch this video, I can’t remember the name of it, but I was only about 12 or 13 and he gave it to our family. No one else watched it except me. At that age, I tried to be a vegetarian and I couldn’t do it because I was in a family that ate so much meat. But I finally made the change and it’s been like a year and a half now and I’m pretty proud of myself. I’m feeling good and I do work out a lot,” Simmons told PETA.

Here’s another picture from the “Adam & Eve” inspired photo shoot.

Living vegan or vegetarian can be a promising lifestyle for those who are ready.  The transition will not exactly be smooth so it’s encouraged to transition gradually.

There are many positive advantages to the lifestyle such as new found boosts of energy and healthier looking skin. Clean glowing skin is always the best accessory! Eating a healthy vegan diet has also proven to prevent a number of diseases.

Honestly after all of this, I’m definitely more open to giving this lifestyle a try!
