In a recent interview with MTV, 98 Degrees gave some advice to now-a-day boy bands like One Direction and The Wanted. What wise words did they share, you ask?

The boys advised modern day boy banders to “surround yourself with good people” and “enjoy the ride.” What great advice for people everywhere! And then Mr. Nick Lachey (one of the sexiest men alive, if you ask me) chimed in with an unexpected twist… warning them to steer clear of Taylor Swift. What?! He warned them that she will write a song about them, which is something he claimed to not of ever been warned of.

After watching “Newlywed’s,” all of our hearts broke when Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson split. After the breakup, both of them wrote songs in the midst of their healing process. Here is one of Jessica’s called “I Belong To Me”:

But what about Nick Lachey’s whole album “What’s Left of Me”?? The entire album is about the breakup! So what’s up with that, Nick?! That’s a great example of the pot calling the kettle black (even though i love everything you do, Nick)! Here is one of Nick Lachey’s called “Resolution”:

The men of 98 Degrees also mentioned how they were thankful they didn’t have to deal with all the recent technology. Between social networking sites and smart, camera phones, you can make one wrong move and the entire world will know in seconds! This can make life tough for anyone. We have such a fickle relationship with technology.
