The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards Nominees and Performers.

Attention music fans: not only are some of the hottest artists of the year up for several Grammy awards, many of them will also be performing on music’s biggest night. The 53rd annual Grammy awards, which will take place on February 13th in Los Angeles, is shaping up to be an action-packed show.

The Grammys announced via tweet that the first round of acts include rapper Eminem, California gurl Katy Perry, pop phenomenon Lady Gaga, ladykiller Cee Lo Green, country star Miranda Lambert, and indie rockers Arcade Fire.

The group is made up of Grammy heavyweights: Eminem leads the nominations with ten, Gaga has six, Perry and Green have four each, and Grammy newbies Lambert and Arcade Fire have three nominations each.

It was also tweeted that more performers, announcers, and other special news will continue to be announced in the weeks leading up to the big show. I can’t wait to see what each of these awesome artists has in store for us.  It’s sure to be a great show this year!
